DAVID WROTE: Our Dad will never be forgotten by many people. To me he was more than a hard worker and a fiddle player; he was an encourager in His faith in a living God; hope in the future that he believed that Heaven was a real place and he was a man of real love - for he gave when it was a sacrifice for him to do so. Many times growing up he stopped his work to take the time to do something we'd need done - like cutting out a hockey stick, fixing the chain on our bikes; helping us to make a sling-shot; and push us in his wheel barrow. He will be missed; there is that gap in our lives that will never be filled; but I have the assurance that one day I will see Him again. For Dad's faith and hope was in Jesus Christ and we are of kindred faith and hope. Dad! I will see you again; we will reunite on that peaceful shore. love you - your son David SHEILA WROTE (March 11th, 2008): Dad, I miss you! We love you! SHEILA WROTE: Any one who met Dad felt a gentleness about him. He had a calming, charming manner about him. He was particular when it came to building his musical instruments. He built ukuleles, guitars and violins throughout his lifetime. Many were sold across the continent and some around the world.
