Our Dad will never be forgotten by many people. To me hi was more then an hard worker and a fiddle player; he was an encourager in His faith in a living God; hope in the future that he beleived that Heaven was a real place and he was a man of real love for he gave when it was a sacrifice for him to do so. Many times growing up he stopped his work to take the time to do something we need done, like cutting out a hockey stick, fixing the chain on our bikes; helping us to make a sling-shot; and push us in his wheel barrow. He will be missed; there is that gap in our lives that will never be filled; but I have the assurance that one day I will see Him again for Dad's faith and hope was in Jesus Christ and we are off kindred faith and hope. Throughout a day, there are so many things I see or do that remind me of the great times with Dad. He taught me so much. From sharpening knives to caring for an ill animal, oh so many priceless things... How to be non judging, to love, to be kind...to believe! I can reflect on Dad in many ways and these reflections are all happy memories. Every single one! That's amazing isn't it? Thank you for the lovely life you have given me, Dad and thank you for the beautiful memories.
