Phase One: Gathering information and analysis

After receiving a quote we will get in contact with you. We start to gather information about your business goals so we can understand your company. We also inquire about the purpose of the site, whether you would like to sell your products online, build an informational site and learn more about your target audience. This phase may be performed in person, via phone conversation, on line and even snail mail if you prefer. Included in this phase is the initial consultation which is a complementary 2 hour meeting (see MEETINGS for more info).

Phase Two: Planning of a web strategy

After gathering of information we go to the phase of planning of your web strategy. We put together a map of your site and suggest our solutions. This step involves a client's input.

Phase Three: First Design Draft

With information and site map in hand, we can start to design your website. We define the look and feel, style of your website. The most important element is a target audience, we follow these directions when we draft one or more prototypes. This way you can choose a prototype and suggest in which direction you would like to go.

Phase Four: DEVELOPMENT of your website

This phase involves the coding and development of all other applications for the site depending on the type of site you have chosen (ecommerce, brochure site, informational site, HTML or flash based site).

Phase Five: Delivery

This phase involves the delivery of finished product-website. This is the final touch and it also includes the testing of the website: Probing the functionality, optimization and code validation. Once you (the person who has requested the site creation) approves the final product then the website can be uploaded and launched.

Our objective is to help your business, product or service grow in the online world and to maintain it's positive growth and enhanced reputation.

MEETINGS 

The initial consultation is a free 2 hour meeting via phone, internet or in person. If applicable, travel cost are extra and vary depending on the distance and time.

Each meeting following the initial meeting is $30 for the first hour and $20 for each hour thereafter. Subscribers to an active maintenance plan may wish to use their plan to cover the cost. Otherwise payment is due at commencement of the meeting.

PAYMENT

We offer many discounts throughout the year on various site creations, payment options include monthly payment plans for orders over $1000. The initial invoice must be paid and funds cleared prior to order commencement. 50% paid upfront and 50% once you are satisfied with the design. Business cheques are not accepted unless bank certified or under special circumstances as determined by SG Computer Services. The balance of the final invoice must be paid in full and funds cleared before any product is shipped to the customer or made available for pickup or posted online. Acceptable methods of payment are: cash, money order or cheque.

SHIPPING

All freight/shipping and additional insurance costs are the responsibility of the customer. SG Computer Services is not responsible for delivery delays, loss of product or damages incurred during the shipping process (that becomes the responsibility of the shipper).

CANCELLATION

Cancellation of any order while in progress is prohibited. If, for any reason, an order is cancelled while in progress, the customer will not be refunded any paid amount, regardless of order completion. This is a necessary measure inherent in the manufacture of custom-built product such as multimedia.
